why is it if you live in the county you get a bunch of people saying oh your rich ?I am far from rich . some morons that I work with tell me your rich I say why you say that ? and they say its the area you live in .The area I live in is not a rich area it's town houses .I have lived in poorer places the city ,ghetto rooms but the way I always looked at it is that i have always had a place to stay and I was always just happy with that . Ghetto, burbs ,big house small house all these places I would be thankful for. I just feel like its a place to live .Why am I getting such a hard time |

marinemj:just say "yeah- i live in a townhouse and i really like the area." if they persist or are rude about it, just ignore them and change the subject, and if they really persist, feel free to say "whatever" and walk away. i also like harley's approach.

You can't change people; you can only change how you react to them. So, here's what you do: when people make comments, you say, "I'm thankful for what I have, and not envious of others who have more, so I guess you're right. I must be rich!" Then don't say another word. Just stare them down and make them shut up.
