I had a scar revised at doctor's office. I had to have it revised a few times because the stitches are too loose and they break so I end up with a wide scar. I do not know if it is a weak quality of stitches the doctor is using or what. One time, I overheard the receptionist saying how she did not like me to the doctor. She does not even bother to call me to remind of my appointment. She will lie and say she tried calling, but my phone was busy. But I knew that was true since I was not on the phone that day for my phone to be busy. This is when I call the day of appointment to make sure I have the right time since I have shown up before when the doctor says there was not enough scheduled for her to do the procedure. The doctor is willing to do the revisions for free, but her receptionist always gets an attitude if I am not charged. She gives me dirty looks, too. It is so unprofessional. I feel like saying something, but I am afraid it might make matters worse. In the waiting room, I overheard a patient telling someone she told the doctor how a receptionist acted like she did not want to be there so why keep her on staff, but the doctor does not do anything about it. I am not sure if it is the same receptionist since there is more than one. Since I know the doctor has a relationship with the receptionist, I am afraid she will side with the receptionist and treat me worse. Would you speak up? You are probably thinking why don't I just see another doctor. I already paid for this procedure.
