indented pinholes on upper front tooth

Last fall when I went to the dentist, I asked the dentist if he could sand down my upper front tooth a little since it did not seem as smooth. there were 4 little circular dents on it. But the dentist did not see what I was talkign about, and said it's fine.

Today, I noticed that 2 of the cirlces got bigger. I don't know if this is enamel coming off my tooth? I do not have dental insurance and cant afford to spend over $100 for dental exam roght now. Just wondering of you experienced this before. If it is cavity or enamel coming off tooth?
