I signed an agreement with option to buy,putting down 18,000.00 down and spending another 3868.00 to have septic repaired along with 6800.00 for finished room and 1/2 bath. Owner had abandoned house. A predator broker talked her into letting him manage the house. She removed him from managing the house 3yrs ago. Now that I found out that I was not suppose to be paying taxes and ins. on a house that's not in my name,she is trying to evict me and have not offered any money back. We are due to go to court very soon but my problem is I can't get any lawyer to take the case.How can I defend myself,I have most of the receipts and agreement.I put the majority of my retirement money in this house.After she removed the broker,we only did a verbal agreement.I will let you have the house for what is owned on it,and pay the payments to the mortgage com,which I have been doing since Sept/2004 to04/2009.
