Do guys play games if they like you ?

I thought for sure this guy liked me but then sometimes he acts funny . Its hard to tell when guys act like they like you and then sometimes act funny .He stares at me sometimes with this blank look and makes me a little uncomfortable at other times he smiles really hard or giggles when I am around or when he talks to me . sometimes he likes being around me other times he acts weird around maybe shyness ?
