Can an average looking lady make others think she is more attractive by acting that way? |

I have known quite a few average looking ladies who had reputations for being more attractive than they actually were. My question is? Can a just average looking woman, simply by her demeanor and choice of clothing and hairstyle, give off the impression that she is beautiful when she is really not? |

whatdoyoumeancookie:beauty is way more than just sheer physical attractiveness. people find the qualities of being confident (not cocky), secure, honest, intelligent, thoughtful, compassionate, witty, etc. to be way more important than looks, especially as you go through life. although, I want to stress that how attractive other people find you means absolutely nothing. what matters is how you think about yourself. it might seem like beautiful people have it way easier, and in certain ways they actually might. BUT looks don't last forever. cultivating your own interesting and unique personality is much more important, and for sure makes you seem more attractive to others.

When you have to work with less, you develop other qualities, like kindness, honestly, loyalty, compassion, etc. That's very attractive to a lot of people. And also, being average, but attractive, there's that bonus that the men aren't afraid to ask us out, and they aren't terrified that men are always trying to seduce us. I'm considered attractive, but my other qualities outweigh my physical appearance, in my opinion. In my husband's opinion, (and my ex's, when we were married), men were always after me. My husband finds it endearing that I'm oblivious. I've had the great fortune of good genes and a great metabolism, so I've aged well and despite my ex-husband trying to destroy me lately with a legal battle (I've dropped down to an all-time low of 110 lbs, and I'm 5'5), I have a great sense of humor. Joke's on him, because I laugh every day. We finally finished in mediation, and my lawyer told me that his lawyer called him a jackass. I love it when a plan comes together!
So just remember this: it's all in the presentation. People come in all shapes and sizes, and personalities. You can dress a donkey in a $1000 suit, but he's still an ass. Look at the oversize actresses who are now spokeswomen for cosmetic companies. Ellen DeGeneres is doing commercials for cosmetics. Confidence shines. Inner peace and happiness shines. If you're beautiful and miserable, nobody wants to be around you. Be kind, be happy, be generous of spirit. The rest will follow.
